"Last year in April 2015 I took my daughters to Mauritius for our first ‘overseas’ experience. It was my youngest daughter’s first flight and she was a bit nervous. We flew from Cape Town to Johannesburg with SAA and from there with Air Mauritius. I must commend Air Mauritius as they were excellent. The staff members were friendly and helpful and my youngest daughter even received a small gift when we settled into the flight. The food arrived steaming hot and it was very delicious although the portion was a little too big for one meal (but we didn’t complain). I even got to relax with some in-flight movies. The return flight was direct from Mauritius and the 6 hours went by very fast. We received a good meal and a snack an hour before we landed. We enjoyed our first island vacation and hope to go on a boat cruise next year for my eldest’s 21st birthday."
