"The last time I went on a trip was to the UK. We left from Durban on Mango and landed at Johannesburg, OR Tambo for the flight to London on British Airways. I flew British Airways because the person that was planning the trip for me said that British Airways and SAA had the best trained pilots. What can I say. I'm very nervous when it comes to flying. But during the 15 hr flight to London I admit I was nervous. I couldn't sleep and I had my seatbelt on during the whole duration of the flight. The hostesses constantly came to me to reassure me that all was well and to offer me something to drink. Whenever I needed their assistance they would be next to me within 10sec. Although I'm a nervous flyer I have a few highlights of my experience with British Airways that would make me fly with them anytime. For instance the efficiency, neatness and friendlyness of the staff. Although it is in any flight personell code of conduct to have good etiquette and make all passengers from economy to first class feel at home, well British Airways goes the extra mile. They give you the reason to not even consider another airline as service goes. Moving on to the entertainment on the flight. The movies were definitely a highlight, and kept me busy through the flight. There was an enormous choice of movies that would last you a few flights. The food was just to die for. Fresh, warm and full of flavour. And enough to satisfy any foodloving person. Lol, kinda like dining out and going to the movies. Everything was very professional and (wow!) the knowledge of the pilot about different countries that we were flying over and the weather was top nodge. Well to end the flight on a perfect note the landing was immaculate. So smooth that when the plane came to a standstill I was very stunned cause I almost didn't feel the touch down. I would have been honoured to shake the hand of the pilot but I was flying economy and the cockpit if I'm not mistaken is more in the first class direction. I think first class on British Airways would be world class fit for a queen and I will keep that in my wish list as I can only afford economy but I can proudly say that economy class on British Airways is an absolute pleasure and classy . So now I'm planning a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland and my first choice would without a doubt be British Airways. I would from my own personal experience rate them on a scale from 1 to 5 ? Without a doubt give a 5 with a thumbs up. What can I say British Airways brings the world together. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to write this preview as just talking about my experience with British Airways makes me relive the whole trip."
